Team access for Grok and Grok Bot

Our Grok team account can only assign two licence types: SuperGrok at $30 and SuperGrok Heavy at $300. SuperGrok Plus, the $100 tier that carries Grok Bot, is an individual plan and cannot be allocated to a team seat. The Cursor route to Grok Bot needs a Premium seat at $120, not Standard. All prices below are monthly.

  1. Everyone who needs Grok - SuperGrok team seat, $30 per user per month
Grok on grok.com, the phone apps, Build and connectors, plus Imagine images and 720p video. Consolidated billing and seat management. No Grok Bot.
  2. Everyone who needs Grok Bot - Cursor Teams Premium, $120 per seat per month
Grok Bot is on the Premium seat only. Standard at $40 does not carry it, whatever the Cursor pricing page implies. Premium is 5x Standard usage, and a Cursor seat also gives a pool of models to switch between - Claude, GPT, Gemini and Grok. No minimum seat count.
$30 for Grok alone. $150 a head for Grok and Grok Bot together.
The alternative is a SuperGrok Heavy team seat at $300, which carries both.

Do not trust the Cursor pricing page on this. cursor.com/pricing lists "Grok Bot access" as a bullet on the Teams card while the Standard toggle is selected, and x.ai/bot lists Cursor Teams Standard among the Grok Bot routes. Both are wrong, or at least misleading - the Teams card shows a merged feature list. The checkout at cursor.com/team/new-team is the authority, and it puts "Access to Grok Bot" against the Premium seat only. Verified there on 27 August 2026.

Where the usage figures come from. Cursor's pricing pages quote multipliers only. A Cursor staff member gave the dollar amounts on Cursor's own forum, 6 January 2026: "Teams ($40/user/mo) and Pro ($20/mo) include the same $20 of usage... Pro+ ($60/mo) includes $70 of usage, or Ultra ($200/mo) includes $400." The June 2026 Teams update then added a first-party model pool and said a Standard seat "now includes more total usage" at the same price, without publishing the new figure - so treat $20 as the floor for a Standard seat today, not the current number.

Checked 27 August 2026; every row links to its source. The public comparison grid at x.ai/pricing ticks Grok Bot on SuperGrok Plus and Heavy only and shows a dash against Business - but that grid describes the base Business tier. The business billing page at grok.com/plans/business sells SuperGrok, Plus and Heavy, and the Plus card leads with "Exclusive access to Grok Bot" - but the team Licences panel in our own Renue By Science workspace, checked 27 August 2026, offers only SuperGrok and SuperGrok Heavy, so Plus cannot be allocated to a team member. Seat prices and the 720p / 1080p video split are read from the business billing page. Eligible Cursor routes: x.ai/bot. Cursor seat minimum: "there must be at least one Admin and one paid member on the team at all times", with no minimum team size - cursor.com/docs. Usage quote: Cursor forum, 6 January 2026.
